woman prayingIt was suggested that I have a place for praises and prayer requests to be posted. What a great idea! Let’s take the time to praise God together as well as share any prayer requests that we would like others to be praying for.

Also, please remember to share any answers to those requests so that we may be encouraged and reminded that the Lord hears and responds to our prayers.

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)

The comments below this entry will serve as our prayer list for this month.

*PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to view the praises and prayer requests from a previous month, just scroll down the right hand column of this page and look for its listing under the category, ‘Info & Resources’.

I’ve been learning what it means to pray continually… would you join me? Our daughter,Kama, has chronic fatigue immune deficiency and fibromyalgia. She is 14 and although she has been struggling for a few years this year has seen a steady decline. Two weeks ago she withdrew from school… now we are beginning online schooling so that she may work when she is feeling up to it. Our previously athletic child has dropped all sports… even her leased horse, Charlie, isn’t seeing very much of her. She can’t do movie theaters or malls or places with bright flourescent lights. She is dizzy and nauseous most days….along with extreme motion sensitivities..major cognitive challenges and the list goes on. It is a very tough invisible disease. Those who live this life often face anxiety and depression. Please join me in praying that God would take these feelings totally away from her. May she know His peace, His faithfulness, His love, and that He has a wonderful plan for her life. Thank you so very much for joining us on this challenging journey through prayer and petition to our Father. Joshua 1:9
