Women Drinking Coffee2

Hebrews 11:24,25 (NIV) And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another…

  • Wow, what a time of refreshment we had as a family this past week, both here in Santiago as well as down south! Thanks for all your prayers. I missed our time of communication together, but I am looking forward to telling you all about our past week. These pictures can give you a sneak peek!
    Fiestas Patrias
[We went with our friends, Kay and Leo, to one of the city parks that had carnival-type activities to enjoy.]

[Felicia fulfilled her dream of being able to ride a horse!]

  • It is so great that you could ‘meet’ Giovanni, one of the members of our church here in Chile! He is the church’s website master as well as younger brother of Lorena, our pastor’s wife. ¡Voy a verte a la iglesia esta noche, giovanni! (See you at church tonight, Giovanni!)
  • Thanks for your kind words, Derek (comment #16). Even if it was called stalking (which it isn’t!), we would be found just as guilty! I think it is so vital for each one of us to have those that we look to as examples and mentors, whether it is in a formal way or just by observing and gleaning on our end. It is a privilege to know that, even as God is continuing to mold and shape us, He can use us for His glory – that His light shines through us even as we continue to make mistakes, deal with challenges, and realize how imperfect we are. Just this morning, I was listening to the song, “The Potter’s Hand”, by Darlene Zschech. May each of us give our lives to the Potter’s hand.

  • Thanks, Wendy D’, for sharing your comments on the Bible study. There are only 2 more days to get in on the discussion for this week’s study: His Perspective and Purpose.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
